The Academic Research Center offers FAE faculty, undergraduate and postgraduate students and researchers opportunities to engage in scientific research work, with the goal to expand local development and create and explore new management technologies.
The specific objectives include:
- develop a favorable environment for research through the involvement of professors and fellowship grantees of the institution that form the research groups;
- interact with the business and academic community through projects developed by the research groups;
- disseminate the existing knowledge production and ongoing and completed projects among the academic community, abiding by the guidelines of the proposals submitted by each research group;
- promote greater interaction with research groups from other educational institutions;
- promote the systematic publication of papers about the results obtained from the research projects carried out by the group;
- encourage participation of group researchers in events that inform the academic and business community about the scientific efforts of the educational institution, research group and researchers involved.
Currently, FAE has four research groups that develop projects in the following thematic areas:
- Organization and Local Development
- Public Policies and Third Sector Initiatives
- Production Management Systems
- Economic Management of Productive Systems
